This is probably the strangest choice for a Kit Kat flavor that I have seen yet. Shouyu (or Soy Sauce) in a chocolate bar. It is a special limited edition Tokyo edition and can only be found at the airport as far as I know as a special gift edition.
I am still trying to pick the smell of this one. It smells a little like something with Shouyu on it, rather than shouyu itself, but I just can’t put my finger on what that is. It also has a not of those coffee creme sweets, but in the end sits somewhere between the two perhaps.
The taste (maybe thankfully) doesn’t resemble shouyu at all. Much more just a plain cream sweet.
Great gift to look out for if you are on your way out of Tokyo.
